Cape Town, South Africa - Sepp Blatter, President of FIFA checked up on progress last week for the upcoming Footie Tournament in 2010. While he was impressed with the status of the preparations he was concerned with the poor performance of the SA National Team known as Bafana Bafana. The Team failed to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations and on the eve of the game was ranked 70th in the world.

With just under 2 years to go the alarm bells are ringing - but Danny Jordaan, CEO of the SA WC Organising Committee has a proposition for Blatter that could make for a very interesting sporting event… and one in which SA may fair better.
